The Daughters of Bilitis, Inc., is a nonprofit organization which was founded prior to election in 1955 and incorporated under the laws of tho State of California in 1957. Established as a women 's organization for the purpose of promoting the integration of the homosexual into society, it has also been qualified under Federal law by the Bureau of Internal Revenue as a non-profit corporation with contributions deductible on income tax returns.
